• Refrain from intense exercise, saunas, or swimming

• Sleep with hair loose or in a soft low braid

You may notice:

• Mild scalp awareness

• You may experience slight tension or visibility when wearing tight hairstyles. This is normal and typically eases as the bonds settle and your natural hair grows.

These experiences are normal and temporary.

Consistent brushing and correct washing technique are especially important during this time.

IT’S TIME FOR REMOVAL OR MAINTENANCE

Signs it may be time for removal include:

• Excessive regrowth

• Tangling near the scalp

• Difficulty brushing through the root area

Over-wearing extensions can place unnecessary stress on the natural hair and scalp, WHICH MAY MEAN WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO REINSTALL FOR YOU

10% of bonds slipping in 3 months is normal! you will notice this increase towards the end of the wear period

your naturally shed hair will get stuck in the bonds, this means that as they grow out there will be less hair holding onto them which is why on time maintenance is essential

blonde extensions and longer extensions have a significantly shorter life span, treat them with extra care

your bonds will get tangled if you aren’t brushing over them daily, this doesn’t hurt or pull them out! it simply pushes that shed hair down

you will lose a small amount of length and some volume during the re-tipping process should you choose to reuse your hair extensions

sulfates will break down your bonds and dry out your extensions

maintenance is a two step process booked at your check up or install, your first appointment is a removal and the second appointment is your reinstall, gloss will need approximately 4 biz days to retip your extensions
